Two recs and a meta link today:

lomonaaeren, who is climbing steadily higher on my all-time favourite authors list. Her latest tale, A Reckless Frame of Mind (IJ or here for LJ) is preslash, elegantly written and with great emotional intensity. I believe a sequel is planned and I'm already eagerly awaiting it.
Second up is crack!fic from the lovelyeeyore9990. I got to the last line of this and nearly died of the giggles. I prudently decided not to explain the hysterics to my long-suffering boyfriend who, I think, would not have appreciated the story the way I did. Ahem...
Finally, some discourse on the fragmentation of fandom caused by Boldthrough, and why it could actually be a good thing for fandom, fromfemmequixotic. I have to agree with her; I've made so many more posts since I moved to IJ because I want to actively promote fandom on this site, and get things moving again. And that can only be a good thing, no?
