Wifi is love
Apr. 14th, 2009 02:28 pmI got home from London last night; my train ran about an hour later than scheduled. And the onboard wifi was less than effective. I think there was about 2 minutes where the router was connected to the outside world. Fortunately, I had expected this and had each page of Inukshuk by Murron open in tabs. 84,000 words kept me occupied and I liked the ending very much. This tale is very... very John and Rodney. Them being themselves, doing what they do, while it all goes to hell around them.
So, I am happy to be home with my wifi and my own mattress and Paz, who I have missed.
( My last day in London... )
It was a good trip. I think I should make the effort to visit my London friends more often.
It's all caught up to me now and I'm very tired. The electricians and the plumber have been in and I now have spotlights in my bathroom and the bath is fitted! I think I'm going to head to Tescos to buy some bubbles...
