Pros and cons

I didn't get the job I wanted, despite the interview going very well and being invited back to meet the team. Which sucks, because I would really have liked the job and the company. No gratuitous purchases for me while I'm in London, then. I made chocolate brownies to cheer myself up.

On the plus side, I can monitor the builders until they've finished work on the house; I can actually book some driving lessons; I can use the gym membership I'm about to sign up to (I don't have a bathroom right now and I want a shower, and I could also use the exercise); I can draw up a plan for the garden and I can do some studying.

This time tomorrow I shall be on a train to London, where I will see all my mates and have a damn good time.

Dammit, I'm sorry.

But yes! Watching builders (and I don't mean that in a porny way, unless of course you want it to!) and working out and studying are all good things. And chocolate brownies! And London!
