I just found that solution in ljwin32_sema's journal, the official LJ for Semagic. It's all shiny now...

Except I've discovered that you have to edit posts individually in Semagic :s. More cross-posting optins needed!!!

I 100% agree with you on that! One messed up spelling or a missing LJ-cut... Yeah, definitely need that multi-edit post button.
